Barrington Atlas of the Greek and Roman World
Provides a graphical overview and background information on the Barrington Atlas, a reference work that "recreates the entire world of the Greeks and Romans from the British Isles to the Indian subcontinent and deep into North Africa."
The atlas is in the atlas case of Simpson Library at the end of the Reference Collection (call number CASE G 1033 .B3 2000). The two-volume supplement, a map-by-map directory, is on the shelves of the Reference Collection (REFB G 1033 .B3 2000 Suppl.).

The Classics Page at Ad Fontes Academy
Contains many Latin and medieval texts. Sections of the website include Latin Texts (see especially the numerous authors represented in The Latin Library), Classical Links of General Interest, Classical Associations & Groups, Classical Journals, Special Sites and Homepages, Discussion Lists, Images of the Ancient World, Latin Resources, Books & Software, and Certamen Resources.

The Classics Pages
Covers the life, mythology, literature, archaeology, and art of the ancient world of Greece and Rome. Subdivisions of the webpage include Entertainment, Philosophy, Art, Greek Mythology, Harry Potter, Greek Literature, Latin Literature, Social History, Archaeology, and Education.

Diotima: Materials for the Study of Women and Gender in the Ancient World
Focuses on women and gender issues among Roman, Greek, Egyptian, and other cultures around the ancient Mediterranean. The site includes "course materials, the beginnings of a systematic and searchable bibliography, and links to many online resources, including articles, book reviews, databases, and images."

Dr. J's Illustrated Guide to the Classical World
A collection of images, texts, lectures, and other resources that illustrate the history, mythology, art, and archaeology of the ancient Greek and Roman world.

The Internet Classics Archive
Among the 59 authors included in this searchable collection of 441 classical full texts are Aeschylus, Aesop, Marcus Aurelius, Augustus, Julius Caesar, Cicero, Confucius, Euclid, Hippocrates, Homer, Horace, Omar Khayyam, Livy, Ovid, Plato, Sophocles, Thucydides, Virgil, and Xenophon. Most of the works are Greek and Latin, although there are a few Chinese and Persian texts; all are English translations.

LacusCurtias: Into the Roman World
This major resource on ancient Rome includes primary and secondary texts, translations, a photo-gazetteer of Roman towns and monuments, topographical works, classical dictionaries, maps, and links to related sites.

The Online Medieval & Classical Library
Users can browse this searchable collection of over 30 "of the most important literary works of Classical and Medieval civilization" by title, author, genre, and language. Over a dozen anonymous texts are included, as well as representative works by Geoffrey Chaucer, Chretien de Troyes, Homer, and John Gower.

Perseus Digital Library
An evolving digital library of resources for the study of the ancient world. The extensive collection includes primary and secondary texts, translations, digital images, maps, and site plans.

Pinax Online: An Annotated List or Web Bibliographies on the Ancient Greek World
Online bibliographies cover language, literature, history, religion, mythology, art, and archaeology of the ancient Greek world.

Tables of Contents of Journals of Interest to Classicists
“TOCS-IN,” as this site is called, provides the tables of contents of selected journals in Classics, Religion, and Near Eastern Studies. The project began to archive current tables of contents in 1992, and now contains ca. 185 journals, and over 45,000 articles.” Pre-1992 journals are also being added. Use the search engine at Searching TOCS-IN to access this invaluable research.

Philosophy

BEARS
Maintained by faculty members in the philosophy department at Brown University, the Brown University Electronic Article Review Service (BEARS) publishes short-approximately 1,000 words-reviews of articles in moral and political philosophy.

The Ecole Initiative
The Early Church On-Line Encyclopedia (Ecole) Initiative is a cooperative effort among scholars around the world "to establish a hypertext encyclopedia of early Church history (to the Reformation) on the World Wide Web."
The encyclopedia includes documents (translations of Judaeo-Christian and Islamic primary sources to 1500), a glossary (short essays or "glosses"), articles (long essays), images (Judaeo-Christian iconography and religious art), and a chronology (a timeline with a geographical cross-index).

Guide to Philosophy on the Internet
Peter Suber of the Philosophy Department at Earlham College maintains this comprehensive guide to online philosophy resources. His numerous links are arranged by categories in an easy-to-navigate table of contents and include Guides, Journals, Bibliographies, Topics, Dictionaries, Quotations, Etexts, and Associations.
The Hippias search engine allows keyword searching of all of the sites to which he links.

The Philosophy Pages
Dieter Kohler's "1000+ links to philosophy sites on the Internet" are organized into the categories Material (such as philosophers, philosophy subjects, philosophy schools, philosophy history), Discussion (online journals, text and audio archives, discussion forums, mailing lists), Investigation (search engines, libraries, publishers, bookshops), and Research and Teaching (university departments, institutes, philosophical societies).
