Locating Reference Materials in the Catalog

You can locate reference items in the catalog using a subject or a keyword search, or by title if you know it.

For a subject search, type in a very broad subject discipline as your major heading (i.e. psychology, philosophy, biology, chemistry, sociology, music) and look for one of these subheadings, some of which may also be used as subjects. You may also use these terms, or variations of them, in keyword searches:
