Searching Periodical Titles in Factiva | ||||||

**Not all articles from each issue are available in full text. If your article is not listed, check the Full Text Electronic Journals Holding List or the Library's catalog for additional options, or request the article via Interlibrary Loan if it is unavailable elsewhere.

STEP ONE
Open a session in Factiva. If the screen that appears does not look like this screen, click on the Look up link located near the top of the page on the bar labelled "Select Factiva Intelligent Indexing." |

| STEP TWO Type the title of the periodical in the box and click on "Look up."

STEP THREE Select the periodical title you want from the list. It should now be highlighted in a green box and listed in the box lablled "Indexing" in the "Source" section.

STEP FOUR Type a key word or phrase from the title of the article that you need in the "Free text" box.. Choose "Enter date range" from the drop-down menu in the "Date" section and enter as much of the date as you have. Leave the free-text search option at "Headline" and click Run Search. |
