Open a session in one of the InfoTrac databases. This example uses InfoTrac OneFile, but the other Infotrac databases listed above work exactly the same.

Health and Wellness Resource Center

STEP ONE

Click on Advanced Search to change the search mode.

STEP TWO

Change the search field box to "Article Title/Headline" and type in a word or phrase from the article title. Change another search field box to "Source Title" and enter the periodical title. Then click on Search.

You may also limit by "Date of Publication" or to "Full text articles." This is recommended as without this step there may be too many matches to browse easily. If you wish simply to browse an entire issue of the periodical rather than locating a specific article, then only enter the "Source Title" and the date.

Business and Company Resource Center

Select Articles as your search option. Type in the peridical title in the "Limit by journal name box. Select the date of the article you need in both the "from" and the "to" boxes. In general, make a selection for the month (if known) and year, or for articles where the month is not given (i.e. it is the "spring" issue), just select the year. It is important to put the date in both boxes, otherwise you will retrieve all articles published since that date rather than just the articles published at that time. Click on Search.
