Boolean NOT

Placing NOT between terms will also narrow your search results. One of the terms is excluded from occurring in the retrieved item.

For example, advertising not television will retrieve those items that have the word advertising in them, but not those that also mention television

ADVERTISING		TELEVISION
	ADVERTISING NOT TELEVISION

The section of the advertising circle that does not overlap with the television circle, colored yellow, represents the results of the search advertising not television.

Important: Be careful when using the NOT operator, as you may exclude significant items that are not retrieved simply because they contain the word you wish to avoid.
