Subject and Keyword Selection I

The important terms in the topic information about efforts to preserve coastal wetlands are preserve and coastal wetlands .

Because of the richness and diversity of the English language, there are usually many ways to express a single concept. The various information sources will use different words or terms, so it is critical to think of all of the ways you can say your important terms. Dictionaries, thesauri, encyclopedias and other reference tools are good sources to check for additional words and terms.

Think about the terms preserve and coastal wetlands . How many different words or phrases can you think of to use for each of these terms?
