TALON MODULE 2: Topic Development and Source Selection
Subject Approach I

General sources cover all subject areas.

Subject sources focus on a particular subject area or field of study. These may be very specialized or may cover a broad subject discipline.

General sources such as the Encyclopaedia Britannica and Britannica Online include a wide variety of topics in virtually every field of knowledge.

Subject sources such as the Encyclopedia of Sociology and the Encyclopedia of Life Sciences include topics of interest to and from the perspective of people in that field of study.
